Museum of American Speed Launches Youth STEAM Space With Support From Endurance01/09/2026
Lincoln, Neb. — The Museum of American Speed is expanding hands-on learning for kids thanks to generous support from Endurance and its giving initiative “Endurance Cares”. The new 1,500-square-foot STEAM space will let children explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math through the exciting world of automobiles.
“At the Museum of American Speed, interactive learning is at the core of our mission,” said Tim Matthews, Museum Curator. “Endurance’s support allows us to provide young visitors with meaningful opportunities to understand the science and creativity behind automotive innovation.” The upgraded space will feature an all-new aluminum racetrack, a coloring and design station, a vintage slot-car track, and interactive digital exhibits. Kids can design, build, and race their own vehicles, experimenting with speed, friction, and aerodynamics in a fun, hands-on environment. This partnership ensures more families, school groups, and first-time visitors have access to engaging STEAM experiences while exploring the world of cars. We’re proud to make this possible with the generous support of Endurance. |
