1937 Studebaker Extremliner

   Wrapped in PPG Luminescence Gold Razzleberry paint, the Extremeliner portraits its curvaceous art deco style to a “T”. Built from the ground up in Pennsylvania this vehicle was one Ken “Posies” Fenicals most demanding projects he had done to date.

• A benchmark for every custom car to follow in the 1990’s, its been featured in almost every car magazine and custom car show tour.
• Featuring a tan leather interior with ostrich graining, jute and bamboo garnishments on the interior walls, Corvette suspension and driveline, Ken and his team finished one of America’s Most Beautiful Roadsters (AMBR) into something uniquely special.

• The Extremeliner is an exercise in old meets new. Based on 1937 Studebaker front fenders the design is heavily Art Deco in design.​

• The chassis is custom built with only the best Corvette components with an independent front suspension, coilover shocks, rack and pinion steering and 11inch disc brakes.
• The Corvette LT-1 V8 boasts 400hp and is backed by an overdrive GM700R4 transmission.​
• The car was modeled on the mid 1930’s Cord 810/812 and the Lincoln Zephyr bearing the smooth art deco look and feel.
• The Extremeliner is completely unique, very detailed and exhibits great proportions exemplifying the cars fit and finish.
• Thom Taylor, hot roddings premier artist, produced a series of detailed drawings for Ken and his talented team of builders to hone the 20 gauge curvaceous steel panels to.
• All exterior trimwork was built from wood and painstakingly recast in fiberglass and painted to a wood grain pattern for longevity to simulate the real thing.
• Other Art Deco finishing touches include the grille bars, decorative tri-bar “wings” on the steering wheel, hubcaps, and fender skirts, the long , gracefully tapered skirts themselves and the winged bumpers.
