This car was built in 1968 by Don Edmunds and owned by Jack Stroud, this car competed on the USAC National midget circuit for many years. It was driven most successfully by Bob Tattersall, who won the 1969 USAC Championship.
Jack Stroud sold the Honker to Bob Olds, who had many drivers in the seat of this car, among them were, Frank Mantello, Gary Koster, Gene Pastor, Sammy Sauer, Bob Wente, Don Wilson and Doug Wolfgang. This car is part of the Leroy Byers collection. |
