The car was driven by Jerry Stone, won the Hutchinson KS Super Modified Nationals in 1976.

​It won many Super Modified features throughout Kansas & Oklahoma during 1976 & 1977, including the Tulsa NCRA race in Oct., 1976, driven by Dale Reed.

The car was retrieved from a junkyard in Amarillo, TX by Perry Tripp.  He spent over 3000 hours in research and labor to restore it to it's present condition.
