​Bob Trostle and Doug Wolfgang built this car for owner, Doug Howells to race in the 1981 World of Outlaws race season.  With Wolfgang driving, the car won at Barberville, Florida; Gibsonton, Florida (twice); Houston, Texas; Mesquite, Texas; Kansas City, Kansas (twice); Granite City, Illinois (twice); Knoxville, Iowa (twice); Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Belleville, Kansas; Fairmont, Minnesota; Erie, Colorado; Sedalia, Missouri;  Rossburg, Ohio and Butler, Michigan.  The car most impressive victory came at Syracuse, New York when it won the Syracuse Nationals during Super Dirt Week.
