HAL Valve in Head

This is a HAL "Valve in Head" OHV engine. This unique 1923 HAL design enables the valve train to operate in a bath of oil, reducing wear and noise. The short intake manifold improved fuel atomization and allows the use of a stock Ford carburetor or several other larger racing carburetors. A dual-plug racing version of this head was also advertised.
